What is MLA Intelligence Labs?
MLA Intelligence Labs is the largest live Claude Coworking for Lawyers program in the United States, produced by My Legal Academy. Across Season 1, every Wednesday at 11 AM Pacific, law firm owners joined a 90-minute working session and built their firm's AI on Claude by Anthropic — no slides, no theory, real tools, real Claude Workflows for Lawyers. More than 1,000 unique attorneys attended across the seven Labs.
Two tracks alternate weekly. The Foundational track is led by Aliza Rizvi (MLA Client Success Manager) — Cowork only, no terminal, designed for solo and small-firm attorneys with no prior AI background. The Advanced track is led by Irfad Imtiaz (MLA Director of Technology) — covers Claude Code, Memory layers, Skills sharing across the firm, and GitHub for legal teams.
Through May 31, 2026, the program is free for everyone on the waitlist. From June 1, 2026 it becomes a $197/month membership. The first 50 members — the Founding Cohort — lock that rate for life.

What is Claude Coworking for Lawyers?
Claude Coworking (Cowork) is Anthropic's persistent-project layer for Claude — a working space that remembers your firm's voice, intake rules, matter folders, and connected data sources from one conversation to the next. For lawyers, this means Claude stops being a one-off chatbot and becomes a system that already knows how your firm sounds, what cases you take, and where your matter files live. MLA Intelligence Labs taught the patterns end-to-end: how to set up a Cowork Project per firm, what belongs in your CLAUDE.md, how to structure a voice file, and how to wire Connectors so Claude reads your real data instead of guessing.
What Claude Workflows for Lawyers can be automated?
Across the 7 Labs, attendees built and shipped workflows covering the full life of a matter: daily intake triage (overnight leads classified, drafts written in the firm's voice, delivered to Slack by 7 AM); conflict checks across matter history; contract review and NDA triage with the firm's deal-breaker list pinned in; demand letters and engagement letters drafted from precedent; weekly billing sweeps from QuickBooks; client status updates and follow-up nudges per active matter; meeting prep briefs from CRM and calendar context; AI Visibility files (robots.txt, llms.txt, schema markup) for getting cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews. Each of the seven recordings walks through these in live builds, not slides.
Why Claude over ChatGPT for law firms?
Claude's persistent Project layer gives law firms a single place to encode voice, intake rules, and matter context that auto-loads in every conversation. Claude's Skills model lets firms ship reusable workflows across the team without re-pasting prompts — every paralegal, associate, and admin runs the same procedure. Claude's Connectors wire Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Slack, and Microsoft 365 directly into the conversation. Claude's Memory layers let firms keep privilege-safe boundaries between matters. And in May 2026 Anthropic shipped a Legal plugin with nine ready-made Skills (/brief, /compliance-check, /legal-response, /legal-risk-assessment, /meeting-briefing, /review-contract, /signature-request, /triage-nda, /vendor-check) covering common firm workflows out of the box. ChatGPT can be used alongside, but the Cowork patterns MLA teaches are Claude-native.
