What we're building Wednesday

Advanced #1 · Skills, Memory & Team

Lab 4 got you Skills running in your own Project. This one is about scale — Memory layers, privilege-safe boundaries, and how to ship one Skill across your firm without nine forks of it.

Wed May 13 · 11 AM PT · 90 min

Memory across conversations. Skills across the firm.

Account-level Memory vs project-level Memory — when each one matters, how to use both without leaking client data across matters. Then sharing: how to ship one Skill to your paralegals and associates so the whole firm uses the same source, not nine forks of it.

  • Memory systems — what each layer does and when each matters
  • Privilege-safe boundaries between matters and clients
  • Sharing Skills with your team without copy-paste chaos
  • GitHub for firms — keeping one Skill canonical (optional, for the technically-comfortable)

About the program

What is MLA Intelligence Labs?

MLA Intelligence Labs is a weekly 90-minute live Claude AI coworking program for U.S. law firm owners, produced by My Legal Academy. Every Wednesday at 11 AM Pacific, law firm owners join a 90-minute working session and build their firm's AI on Claude — no slides, no theory, real tools, real workflows.

Two tracks alternate weekly. The Foundational track is led by Aliza Rizvi (MLA Client Success Manager) — Cowork only, no terminal, designed for solo and small-firm attorneys with no prior AI background. The Advanced track is led by Irfad Imtiaz (MLA Director of Technology) — covers Claude Code, Memory layers, Skills sharing across the firm, and GitHub for legal teams.

Through May 31, 2026, the program is free for everyone on the waitlist. From June 1, 2026 it becomes a $197/month membership. The first 50 members — the Founding Cohort — lock that rate for life.

Four sessions delivered to date: Lab 1 (The AI Visibility Lab, Apr 15), Lab 2 (The Ad Intelligence Lab, Apr 22), Lab 3 (Foundational #1 — The Cowork Build, Apr 29), Lab 4 (Foundational #2 — The Skills Build, May 6). Next: Advanced #1 — Skills, Memory & Team, Wednesday May 13 at 11 AM Pacific with Irfad Imtiaz. All replays are free and captioned.

No slides. No notes. No theory.

You've sat through enough sessions where someone talks for an hour and you leave with a PDF you never open.

MLA Intelligence Labs runs differently. You connect your firm's tools to Claude — Gmail, Drive, Calendar, the works — live, while the Lab is running. Last Wednesday a live room of law firm owners built a client-onboarding Claude Skill: engagement letter from Drive, draft email in Gmail, calendar event for kickoff. One command, every new client. Shipped the same week.

Every Lab installs working infrastructure. The Project. The CLAUDE.md. The Skills. The Memory. By Lab 4 you have a brain for your firm, not a stack of slides.

The attorney sitting next to you at a conference last year took notes. You're going to build.
